Mercury retrograde is finally over! There is still a bit of a shadow period after a planet goes direct, and this lasts about a week, so we may still feel some of that retrograde energy as things begin to straighten out.

During these times, we may find that communication is still slightly difficult and our thoughts may be a little hazy. Continue to take things slow and be patient as the energy balances out.

The Sun is in Libra right now, and will stay in Libra until Oct. 23. Libra season is a good time to look for love and spending more time with your friends. We may feel more charismatic and outgoing during this season.

Libras often like to look at both sides of a situation before making any decisions, and we all may find ourselves taking a step back to reassess things.

The Moon is starting off in Capricorn this week, which may make us feel a little disconnected from our emotions and putting more effort into our work and passions.

The Moon moves into Aquarius on Oct. 4 and then into Pisces on Oct. 7. On Oct. 9, we have a full moon in Aries.

Full moons are a great time to release what is no longer serving you! It’s also a great time to cleanse your crystals – a good way to do this is to leave them on a windowsill under the moonlight. After this, they’ll be charged with the energy of the full moon.

The crystal of the week is rhodonite!

This crystal brings peace and self-confidence, as well as unconditional love for yourself and those around you.

Rhodonite is a great crystal to carry during the Libra season as it will increase that affectionate energy and help bring peace for the shadow period of Mercury retrograde.
